I don’t know where you’re from but in the U.K. we call injections of every kind jabs. It’s not even vaguely pejorative eg, the famous “15 jabs to freedom” headline
A good article, but deeply undermined by what looks like a small language choice but I have found to be quite significant. I suggest that everyone who uses the cute, slag term "jab" for vaccinations has tipped their hand that they have made up their minds before the evidence is in. They are being intentionally dismissive. I don't say this from theory but from observation over the last three years. Scientologists call it a jab. Anti-vaxxers call it a jab.
I was unsuspicious of your essay to that point. After that, I had to fight to take you seriously. I don't say this just to get you change you language for persuasive purposes, but to challenge your objectivity, which you should examine.
Call things what they are and don't propagandise me, thank you.
You are correct about the first part. I am not sure about the second. It is "normal" to call them jabs in America as well - but only among a certain crowd that has begged the question.
Nonetheless, point taken. My reading of the tone may be so influenced by this context that I can't read it properly in a UK context.

I am going to guess that you're from America? In the UK, it is normal to call them jabs.

This is just so bloody depressing to read. What an absolute litany of jokers. How do any of them look themselves in the mirror?
They forget they ever said it.
Do they forget? I’ll bet that people like Pagel & Greenhalgh are still wearing masks and advocating we should all be wearing them.
